It was a beehive of activities as dignitaries in Cross River State, on Saturday 19 April, 2025, paid homage to the Obol Opon of Ugep and Paramount Ruler of Yakurr local government area, HRM Obol Ofem Ubana Eteng, at his palace in Ugep. It was the occasion of the Obol Opon’s 66th birthday and 10th anniversary on the throne.
Prominent among dignitaries that paid homage to the Monarch to celebrate with him on this special day were the Deputy Governor of Cross River State, Rt. Hon. Peter Odey; HE Dr Clement Ebri, former governor of Cross River State; the Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs, Hon. Oden Ewa and a lot of others.
