The delegation prayed earnestly for divine strength, peace, and fortitude for the Honorable Commissioner and the entire Ewa family, urging them to take solace in the remarkable legacy left behind by their patriarch. “Though irreplaceable, his memory lives on in every life he touched, every mind he molded, and every good cause he championed,” the group stated during the visit.
In an atmosphere of empathy that transcended grief, the Face of Democracy Exco seized the moment to also express their solidarity with the Honorable Commissioner, acknowledging his commendable role in the current People First government. His people-centric vision and delivery of visible, impactful projects stand as testament to his devotion to public service and the greater good.
Describing the Commissioner as “a silent achiever and a visionary servant-leader,” the group affirmed their unwavering support for his political aspirations, pledging to work hand in hand with him to further the dreams and hopes of the people of Cross River State.
We are not just here to mourn with you, we are here to stand by you—to support and align our strength behind you to actualize your political ambition, because we believe in your vision, your character, and your capacity to lead,” the delegation remarked with heartfelt conviction.
The visit ended with prayers, warm expressions of comfort, and a reaffirmation of commitment to the ideals of inclusive leadership and service to humanity.
As the Face of Democracy continues to grow as a voice of reason and engagement in Nigeria’s democratic space, moments like these remind us that politics is not just about power—it is about people, presence, and partnership in both triumph and trials.
May the soul of Prof. Pa Ibiang Oden Ewa rest in perfect peace, and may his enduring legacy continue to inspire a new generation of leaders grounded in knowledge, compassion, and purposeful service.
