Hon. Oden Ewa’s outreach initiatives have continued to make tangible and life-changing impacts on the lives of women and the girl child across the Central Senatorial District. Through targeted interventions in education and healthcare, his programmes have not only uplifted individual beneficiaries but also strengthened families and communities.
In the education sector, 16 girls at Holy Standard College and 25 girls at Holy Cross Nursery School have benefitted from scholarships that ensure access to quality learning environments, thereby breaking barriers to education for young girls. The empowerment continues at higher levels, with 29 women receiving postgraduate scholarships, opening doors to academic and professional advancement that will, in turn, inspire other women and girls within the region.
Equally significant is Hon. Ewa’s commitment to women’s health and wellbeing. Through his medical outreach, 53 women have undergone successful fibroid surgeries, while 102 have been treated for appendicitis and 89 for hernia interventions that have restored health, hope, and productivity to many families.
