A day of immense pride and promise unfolded today at the residence of the esteemed Obol Okoi Obono-Obla, as forty-two dedicated students successfully graduated and received their certified Master of Business in the Streets (MBS) certificates, the ceremony held in honor of Obono-Obla’s renowned patriotism and philanthropic nature, was a vibrant celebration of education, entrepreneurship and national development.
The event served as a powerful proof to the graduates’ hard work and the program’s commitment to empowering individuals with practical business management skills, the atmosphere was charged with optimism as the graduates looked toward a future filled with new opportunities.
The highlight of the ceremony was the immediate and impactful demonstration of support for aspiring leaders, Ten of the graduates boldly declared their interest in becoming fully trained ambassadors for the program, The Country Director, Ambassador Dr. Esuku deeply impressed by their initiative and passion, immediately awarded each of these ten prospective ambassadors a seed grant of Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000) totaling Fifty Thousand Naira to fuel their initial endeavors.

The intellectual rigor and practical value of the MBS program were brought to life during a special segment where four certified graduates took the stage to share their success stories. They eloquently demonstrated a masterful understanding of effective business management principles, even when operating with limited capital, in their heartfelt expressions they unanimously emphasize the critical need for accessible startup funding, calling for a “faster and possible way of accessing the grant” to allow them to immediately utilize their newfound knowledge and start something meaningful in their lives.
In response, the Country Director, Ambassador Dr. Esuku provided clear and reassuring guidance, he confirmed that every graduate will receive the grant upon the completion of the necessary formal application process, He encouraged all forty-two graduates to promptly submit their applications to access the funds designed to kickstart their entrepreneurial journeys.
The inspiring ceremony culminated in a group photograph, capturing the joyful faces of a new generation of business leaders, the event concluded on a harmonious note with participants enjoying refreshments and a closing prayer, marking the successful end of one chapter and the hopeful beginning of another.
