Lord Chesterfield said: “A man of sense is never discouraged by difficulties; he redoubles his industry and his diligence, he perseveres and infallibly prevails at last.”
This means you have to learn to put up a great fight against whatever has been arrayed against you.
Fore instance, when David in the Bible wanted to fight Goliath, he took five stones. Have you ever asked yourself why? He must have expected that he would fight and shoot at Goliath at least five times before hitting him.
He must have said to himself, “if I don’t hit him with the first stone, I will shoot the second stone. If the second stone misses, I will shoot the third ….. I will keep on shooting until I hit him.”
That is the mindset that always wins.
That is why the American General, Dwight Eisenhower said that, “What counts is not necessarily the size of the dog in the fight but it is the size of the fight in the dog.
Don’t ever give up!
Stay in the Fight and stay in it until you Win And You Will Be Celebrated.
